SUMMARY:Cummins and Carmac Day Hike Tour
DESCRIPTION:Visit two of the Upper Cumberland’s most beautiful waterfalls. Gorge access permit to Cummins Falls and a hearty sack lunch at Cul-Car-Mac Falls are both included with this Day Hike Package.\nCummins Falls at 8AM\nCummins Falls is located in Cookeville, TN and became a state park back in 2011. It is approximately a 3-mile round trip hike and is home to beautiful gorge views and trails scaling down to the gorge access area. Gorge access permits are required to visit the base of the waterfall and have been included with your purchase.\nYou will follow the trail along the water and there are multiple areas where crossing the water is not avoidable so water shoes are recommended. You will come around the bend to view one of the most amazing swimming holes in Tennessee located at the base of Cummins Falls. The view in person is unquestionably spectacular.\nWarning: This trail can become extremely dangerous during wet weather and may be closed if rain is in the forecast as flash flooding may occur.\nVisiting the waterfall will require: Strenuous Hiking, Swimming or wading through water, Climbing Rocks, and Crossing Slippery Rocks\n
